I was just wondering... is there any medicine that can help you go to sleep earlier? Or keep you from dreaming? Some anti-motion sickness medicine would be nice, too, but this is more important right now. I can't remember the last time I slept this badly. It's like I can't stop dreaming about Mom...

[Dying, basically. The same memory of her getting crushed to death by a giant, rampaging tree, not to mention the whole town being destroyed by it.]

Ah, well, that's it I guess. [She gives a weak smile and moves to turn the communicator off, but as she looks down into it her expression suddenly changes: surprise, confusion, fear.]

Wha... what is this...

[There's blood all over her hands, and the communicator drops as she brings them closer to her face, completely forgotten as she doesn't even see it anymore. Whose blood is this? Certainly not hers, right? But when she looks down again--]

Dad... dy? Daddy?

[It's her dad, lying on the ground dead with his chest covered in blood--and Marta's weapon stuck in him. There's a short cry before she collapses on the ground, sobbing hysterically.]

N-No! Daddy, wake up, please wake up! This wasn't, I didn't--I knew I had to defeat you, but not like this, anything but this! I never wanted this, so p-please! Please, wake up...

Fires, visitors, new monsters... jeez, does anyone know what's going on in this place? Sure, it might be silly to actually expect the peace and quiet to last, but that doesn't mean tons of things have to happen all at once now.

Though I'm kinda curious now. Were those lizard monsters really that surprising? [She comes from a world of dragons and giant turtles don't blame her.] I haven't seen them before, but they didn't look all that special to me.

So this is what a war's like, huh... [A bitter smile.] Daddy's so dumb.

[Marta's ducking behind a tree when the feed turns on. It's dark, but from what you can see she looks exhausted. Her wounds aren't terribly terrible, mainly glancing wounds and bruises, but days of fighting can really take your energy (not to mention, y'know, FRIENDS DYING). Still, she tries to brighten up when she looks into the camera.]

Hey, how's everyone holding up...? Netherlands, Tir? And, uh, Sora and... Quatre... [She starts trailing off, the exhaustion finally catching up with her as her eyelids struggle to stay open. Gathering your thoughts is hard when you're dead tired and adrenaline just isn't enough.]

Hey, where's the hospital again? I'm running out of bandages...

[Guess who hasn't been updating her communicator? There's a slight hiss from the shock as Marta looks into the communicator, and she's pouting as she starts addressing it.]

So I guess these things really do shock you... man, how creepy.

[There's a pause, and her frown turns into a more worried look than irritated.]

Hey, are there any apartments that can hold a chocobo? I haven't really been living in one, but with what's been happening recently... it just suddenly seemed like a good idea.
